The Phone That Dialed the Future
You pick up an old flip phone from a charity shop. It still works-but it only lets you call one person… and that person is you, 20 years in the future.
Your future self warns you of something that will happen soon-and gives you a cryptic message that doesn’t make sense right away. Now, you must decide: will you change your actions, ignore the warning, or risk everything to find the truth?
Rules:
Word count: 300–500 words Must include at least one phone call scene Create suspense through a mystery or decision Use dialogue and emotion to build tension Story must be original-no AI-generated content
